25 years on

My first published column

I'm working on putting together a collection of the monthly entertainment columns I wrote from 1999 – 2006 for the Dispatch/Argus. My first column for that came out Sept. 19, 1999 and I want to get it out in time for the 20th anniversary.

I also wrote music reviews my last semester of college at Northern Iowa in Fall of '94. I had the Rod library copy all of them back in 2002 but who knows where that file folder is now. I dug around tonight online, one link led to another, and found archive copies of all of them! Gotta love the Internet.

Turns out my first published column came out 25 years ago today in the Northern Iowan, archived as a JPG in all its mid-90s tanning coupon splendor.
